The Wonders of Kenya Safari
Nairobi - Amboseli - Samburu - Ol Pejeta: 10 nights
Throughout this exciting safari, I will share my wildlife conservation knowledge bringing the wonders of this amazing country to life. This special trip covers two of most famous national parks in Kenya as seen in the landmark TV series Natural World – Echo (Amboseli) and The Secret life of Elephants (Samburu).
Two nights in Nairobi, staying at the luxurious House of Waine
Visit the Giraffe Centre and enjoy the unique experience of hand-feeding these gentle giants. Enjoy a private visit to the Sheldrick Wildlfe Trust's elephant orphanage. The first and most successful elephant orphan rescue and rehabilitation program in the world, providing specialist and intensive care to elephants under the age of three. As part of your safari, you will receive a year’s adoption of a baby elephant – choose your favourite when you are there.
Three nights in Amboseli National Park, staying at the newly opened Elephant Garden Camp
With stunning Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, Amboseli has been featured in numerous wildlife documentaries, including several TV series about the legendary matriarch elephant, Echo. This lovely new tented camp is based in a private conservancy frequented by some of Amboseli's fabled big bull elephants.
Three nights in Samburu National reserve, staying at Elephant Bedroom Camp
This beautiful tented camp is located on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro river, a lifeline for wildlife and people. Have the chance to see wildlife only found in the northern part of Kenya, such as the Grevy Zebra. Includes an inspiring day trip to Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy to visit the community run elephant sanctuary at Reteti.
Two nights in the Masai Mara, staying at Sweetwaters Morani Wing
The world’s most famous wildlife viewing awaits. You may see a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephant and their fascinating social structure, or see pods of hippo wallowing in the rivers. The new Morani Wing features deluxe tents with a private balcony or veranda.
