Wildlife Wilderness Safari
Nairobi - Tsavo - Amboseli: 7 nights
Throughout this exciting safari, I will share my wildlife conservation knowledge bringing the wonders of this amazing country to life. This inspiring trip covers two of Kenya’s most iconic national parks - the rugged remote wilderness of Tsavo East and Amboseli with stunning Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.
Three nights in Tsavo East National Park, staying at the stunning Galdessa Camp
Our small group will have exclusive use of one of the camps with luxury tented accommodation on elevated wooden decks under thatched shade surrounded by doum palms.
This remote wilderness has retained a rugged charm. Its vastness means that wildlife can be harder to find but there are fewer tourists here so you can immerse yourself in this beautiful hidden corner of Kenya. During one of the days we will have an inspiring visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust reintegration site at Voi.
Three nights in Amboseli National Park, staying at the amazing Tortilis Camp
With stunning Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, Amboseli has been featured in numerous wildlife documentaries, including several TV series about the legendary matriarch elephant, Echo.
The parks unique ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife and is famous for its large herds of elephant. Swamps and springs, fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, offer a watering place for the wildlife and birds during the dry season. Amboseli is also home to some of last remaining ‘Big Tusker’ male elephants in Africa
